Does every home have lake access?

Yes — every home has a boat slip or private dock.

Are pets allowed?

Many of our homes are dog-friendly — look for “Pets OK” on each home’s page. The pet fee is $100 per dog, with a limit of two dogs, and a signed pet waiver is required. Some breeds and sizes are restricted, so please ask us before you book.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. During the off-season, an earlier check-in or a leisurely late check-out may be available — just ask!

Where can I rent a boat?

Pretty much every marina on the lake rents boats. You can also book through private rental companies like Norris Lake Water Sports and Oasis Watersports. Rather sit back and relax? Appalachian Watersports & Charters will captain the boat and drive you around the lake.

What is your cancellation policy?

Booked on Airbnb or VRBO? That platform’s cancellation and refund policy applies, and all cancellations and refunds are handled through that platform.

Booked direct with us?

• 24-hour grace period: Cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund, as long as arrival is at least 48 hours away.
• Peak season (any stay that includes a night from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend): Cancel on or before February 28 of your arrival year for a full refund, minus a $100 flat cancellation fee. The fee is waived if you paid by check. After February 28, all payments are non-refundable.
• All other stays: Cancel more than 30 days before arrival for a full refund, minus a $100 flat cancellation fee. Within 30 days of arrival, stays are non-refundable.
• If your peak season dates rebook: If you cancel a peak season stay after February 28 and any of your nights are rebooked by another guest, you’ll be refunded for those nights, minus the $100 flat cancellation fee.
• If the home becomes unavailable: If the home can’t be used for reasons outside your control, you’ll receive a full refund for the affected nights.
• No refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, illness, weather, travel delays or personal emergencies.

We strongly recommend travel insurance. Full terms are in the rental agreement you sign when you book.
