• Exterior security cameras monitor the outside of the home. Never inside. Never to intrude on privacy of guests.
• All primary guests must sign a rental agreement and provide government-issued ID before arrival.
• Cancellation policy: Guests may receive a full refund, less a 4% processing fee, if cancellation is made at least 60 days before check-in. This policy does not apply to bookings of 7 nights or more. For summer-season weekly stays, cancellations must be made on or before February 28 to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued on or after March 1.
• We highly recommend purchasing traveler’s insurance to help protect your trip investment in the event of unexpected illness, weather, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Summer Season Exception: Reservations for Summer Season stays requiring a seven (7) night minimum stay are subject to a modified cancellation policy. These reservations become non-cancelable and non-refundable after February 28 of the applicable calendar year, regardless of the date the reservation was booked. The standard 60-day cancellation policy does not apply to these qualifying Summer Season reservations after February 28. RNLH Properties strongly recommends that guests purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances, including illness, weather events, travel disruptions, or other situations that may prevent travel. Any refund issued after the applicable cancellation deadline due to a reservation being successfully rebooked is at the sole discretion of RNLH Properties and may be reduced by applicable processing fees, discounts, or other associated costs. Damage Deposit & Identification Policy For the protection of both our guests and homeowners, all reservations—regardless of the booking platform or channel (including Airbnb, Vrbo, direct bookings, or any third-party site)—are subject to a refundable damage deposit hold. The hold will be authorized prior to arrival and released after departure, provided no damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or policy violations are identified. In addition, a valid government-issued photo ID for the primary guest is required and must be on file prior to check-in. Failure to provide the required identification or complete the damage deposit authorization may result in delayed check-in or cancellation of the reservation in accordance with the booking terms.

Driveway Information
The driveway is steep, which is common for many lakefront homes on Norris Lake. We recommend arriving during daylight whenever possible. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is helpful, and backing down the driveway using a backup camera makes departure much easier.
To improve accessibility to the lake, we’ve added lighting, installed new stairs leading to the dock, and upgraded to a double-slip covered dock with one covered slip reserved exclusively for our guests.

A Note About Nature
One of the best parts of staying on Norris Lake is being surrounded by the beauty of East Tennessee. Along with the incredible scenery comes wildlife and the occasional bug or critter—they’re simply part of the lake experience. Keeping doors and windows closed when not in use helps keep the indoors comfortable, prevents bugs and critters from getting inside, and helps keep the air conditioning from overworking or freezing up while preserving the natural environment that makes Knot Working such a special place.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 48 hours away at time of booking.
